Waterproof barefoot shoes

This is the time to look for waterproof barefoot shoes. Water-repellent is not the same as waterproof. Any shoe can be made water-repellent with impregnation agents or wax (e.g. Gogonano Stay Dry, Goldemix, Collonil Carbon Pro, Top Natural Repel, Goldemix conditioner, Topi Natural wax ), but this does not make the shoe waterproof. The membrane makes the shoe waterproof. However, it is worth remembering that shoes with a membrane are not as waterproof as rubber boots. Shoes with a membrane can be used on wet grass or sand, in light rain and snow. However, if there is heavy rain and sleet, we recommend using rubber boots. Shoes with a membrane should not be dried on a radiator or in a drying cabinet, as this may damage the membrane.

Waterproof barefoot shoes for children

Spencer Bundgaard – smooth leather boots with a cozy wool felt lining for older children. They are suitable for narrow feet that are of medium height. The sole is a little stiffer than most barefoot shoes.
Ballop Intense W – an improved Ballop Intense model with an added membrane. This is a shoe made of vegan materials that can be conveniently adjusted with elastic straps. Suitable for medium wide feet and high instep.

Waterproof barefoot shoes for women and men

Freet Bootee, Citee, Mudee, Elgon, Tundra – suitable for wide and medium to high instep. Citee, Tundra and Mudee are made of microfiber, they are also vegan. Bootee is a textile and membrane model and Elgon is made of nubuck leather.
Be Lenka Ranger – unisex hiking and casual boots made of nubuck leather for wide feet, with a medium to high height. The sole has a deeper pattern, which makes the sole a little thicker. Also suitable as first barefoot shoes.
