Shapen produces trendy and feminine barefoot shoes and ballerinas that are suitable for the office, formal events and leisure wear. They are stylish, comfortable and foot-friendly.

Shapen is a barefoot footwear brand from Slovakia, whose story began in 2012, when founder Mia became a mother and started looking for the best first shoes for her child. The barefoot concept immediately attracted her with its naturalness and approach to supporting foot health. She soon decided to try barefoot footwear herself, and within a few weeks, years of foot pain disappeared and her arch began to recover. This personal experience set the stage for a journey that led to the creation of elegant and healthy barefoot footwear.

In 2017, the first Shapeni prototypes, which aimed to combine the freedom of natural movement and feminine style. Mia's dream was to create shoes that would look beautiful, but would be completely foot-friendly at the same time – and that dream soon became a reality. In 2019, she opened Shapen their own e-store, which allowed the brand to grow and bring their designs to a wider audience.

The first one opened in 2021 Shapeni store in Bratislava, and two years later, production was transferred to Portugal and partly to Poland, where the shoes are shaped by experienced craftsmen. There, the desired quality and precision that Mia expected from her brand were achieved.

Today is Shapen known worldwide for its elegant, high-quality and healthy barefoot shoes. The brand's models combine modern fashion and the natural function of the foot, offering a choice for both women and men who want to feel free and confident with every step.
