Mukishoes is a Portuguese family business founded by Madlen and Marta in 2018 with the goal of creating healthy, minimalist and aesthetically beautiful barefoot shoes made entirely from natural materials. The brand began with a successful crowdfunding campaign in early 2019.
The brand works with family businesses and local manufacturers with a long history of crafting shoes, ensuring quality, fair working conditions, and a smaller carbon footprint as the materials don't travel far. Mukishoes also pays great attention to the durability of the shoes, so that each pair lasts a long time and supports the natural movement of the foot for wearers of all ages.
