Antal The barefoot shoes are made in a small family business in Slovakia.

Antal Shoes is a Slovak barefoot footwear brand that was born in 2020 out of a desire to offer freedom and natural movement to the feet. Their principle is simple – shoes must adapt to the human foot, not the other way around.

Antal The shoes combine traditional craftsmanship and modern barefoot philosophy. The wide toe, thin and flexible sole and zero-rise (no heel) ensure comfort and freedom of movement all day long. The selection includes comfortable shoes for every situation – at work, in the city or in nature.

All models are handmade in Slovakia, in small batches, using European leather and textiles. Antal considers both foot health and sustainability important – natural and environmentally friendly materials are preferred in production.

Social responsibility also makes the brand special. Antal Shoes is a registered social enterprise that creates jobs in Medzilaborce, an area where there was no tradition of shoe production until now. This is how shoes are born that give freedom to feet and opportunities to the community.
