Jonap B5 sv merino wool lined barefoot winter boots are made of velour. Read more about barefoot shoes here.
Waterproof or membrane. NOTE: the membrane will only work if the temperature inside the shoe is 15 degrees higher than the outside. Read here!
Membrane footwear is not waterproof in the same way as rubber boots. Membrane footwear can be used on wet grass or sand, in light rain and snow. However, in torrential rain and sleet, we recommend the use of rubber boots. Membrane footwear should not be dried on a radiator or in a drying cabinet as this may damage the membrane. To dry shoes, we recommend removing the insoles, inserting newspapers and keeping the shoes upside down until they are dry.
Jonap’s winter socks have a tongue sewn to the shoe to keep out dirt and rain
The removable insole can be replaced by a warmer insole if desired.
Suitable for medium width and low to medium height feet
For water and dirt repellency we recommend to treat with e.g. Gogonano Stay Dry, Collonil Carbon Pro, Topi Natural Repel spray.
For cleaning use e.g. Gogonano Clean, Collonil Clean+Care, Topi Natural cleaning concentrate or cleaning foam and for dry cleaning use a brush or sponge.
