The leather is water-repellent, but we definitely recommend using a spray that adds moisture resistance, e.g. Gogonano Stay Dry, Goldemix, Collonil Carbon Pro, Top Natural Repel. An option is also to wax (Goldenmix conditioner or Topi Natural with wax), but then the nubuck leather loses its original texture
If water can get through anywhere, it's at the seams.
