- Xero Shoes Ridgeway barefoot ankle boots are made of water-repellent textile and velour. Learn more about barefoot shoes here.
- The shoes are waterproof, meaning they have a membrane. NB! the membrane only works if the temperature inside the shoe is 15 degrees higher than the outside environmentRead here!
- Shoes with membrane are not as waterproof as rubber boots. Shoes with membrane can be used on wet grass or sand, in light rain and snow. However, if there is heavy rain and sleet, we recommend using rubber boots. Shoes with membrane should not be dried on a radiator or in a drying cabinet, as this may damage the membrane. To dry the shoes, we recommend removing the insoles, placing newspapers inside and keeping the shoes upside down until they are dry.
- Ridgeway boots are ideal for both active hiking and casual wear.
- The sole is 14 mm thick, making it a good first barefoot shoe.
- Xero Shoes Ridgeway sporty ankle boots are suitable for medium to wide feet and medium to high instep.
- We recommend treating it to make it water- and dirt-repellent, e.g., with Gogonano Stay Dry, Gogonano EcoProtect, Collonil Carbon Pro, Top Natural Repel spray
- If desired, purchase additional thermal insoles.
