- The shoes are waterproof, i.e. with a membrane. NB: the membrane only works if the temperature inside the shoe is 15 degrees higher than outside. Read more here!
- Membrane footwear is not waterproof in the same way as rubber boots. Membrane footwear can be used on wet grass or sand, in light rain and snow. However, in torrential rain and sleet, we recommend the use of rubber boots. Membrane footwear should not be dried on a radiator or in a drying cabinet as this may damage the membrane. To dry shoes, we recommend removing the insoles, inserting newspapers and keeping the shoes upside down until they are dry.
- The upper is water-repellent and is made up of 40% Oxford (polyester), 40% TPU, 20% microfibre.
- Inside is a textile lining, making the shoes suitable for spring and autumn wear.
- BF 1 outsole is 4 mm thick and well suited for more difficult terrain.
- The set includes 2 pairs of insoles, one of which is heeled and more suitable for those who are just starting to wear barefoot shoes.
- Replace the ribbons with elastic bands if you wish (150 cm suitable).
- Ballop Kuluba W barefoot footwear for medium width and low to slightly higher feet.
- For water and dirt repellency, we recommend to treat with e.g. GogonanoStay Dry, GogonanoEcoProtect, Collonil Carbon Pro, Topi Natural Repel spray.
